All pupils must wear school uniform each day. The Bishopbriggs Academy school uniform is as follows:
A school blazer is an integral part of the school uniform and is worn by pupils in all year groups.
S1 - S3 pupils
Jewellery should be kept to a minimum.
As above but with senior tie. The prefect blazer has blue braiding around the lapels and cuffs.
Blazers can be purchased from Logoxpres, Unit 4, King's Court, Glentye Road, Broadleys Business Park, Stirling FK7 7LH Telephone: 01786 447454 Website. For session 2023 – 24 blazers cost £37.95. Prefect blazers can be purchased for £49.95 or existing blazers can be braided for £20. A polo shirt which can be worn for PE is also available to order for £10.50 for all sizes.
Pupils who are unwell or injured and who have permission not to do PE must still bring their PE kit to school as they may still be able to assist or participate in other ways such as helping with scoring or refereeing. PE takes place both indoors and outdoors throughout the school year. Pupils must remove all jewellery before participating in PE. Football tops are not allowed.
The school welcomes donations of blazers and other items of school uniform (such as ties, trousers and shirts) which are clean and in good condition. Anyone requiring help or advice regarding school uniform, please contact Mr Rushworth, Depute Head Teacher or your child’s Guidance Teacher. Donations can be handed in to the School Office at any time.
If you are on a low income or in receipt of certain benefits you may be eligible for help towards the cost of school uniform.
A new combined online application form for free school meals, free nursery meals and school clothing grants was launched in July 2020.
