East Dunbartonshire Council is changing the way schools and families communicate with each other through a new online service called parentsportal.scot.  It's an online portal designed to be a one-stop shop for a number of school-related activities and will create a new digital relationship between you and us. This exciting development will make communicating with one another easier and more efficient.

Here are just some of the things it will help you do: make online payments (cashless catering), report an absence, book a parents' night appointment, view your child's attendance and timetable, look at our Twitter feed, update your contact details and get latest news from us.

You access the new Parents Portal via the Scottish Government's secure online account called myaccount. Don't worry if you don't have one yet or can't remember signing up for one - all the information you need is on the Council website with helpful FAQs.
