It has been confirmed that His Majesty King Charles III's Coronation will
take place on Saturday 6 May 2023 and that Monday 8 May 2023 will be a
national Bank Holiday. This will result in a three-day Coronation Weekend.

For the Council, this means that Monday 8 May 2023 will be an additional special
public holiday and Council services and facilities will be closed, including schools and early years facilities.

A letter has been issued to all parents/carers from Greg Bremner, Interim Chief Education Officer at East Dunbartonshire Council.
