WEEE Challenge 2014

In November 2014 Bishopbriggs Academy was delighted to receive digital heart rate monitors as one of the winners in a challenge set by the WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) recycling scheme, REPIC. The heart monitors will be used by Science, Biology, PSE and PE departments to enable pupils to assess their health and fitness against national statistics and develop an understanding of the benefits of exercise on the human body.
