U18 Football - Scottish Shield Winners

Bishopbriggs Academy U18s Scottish Shield Champions

Congratulations to the Boys Under 18s football team who won the U18s Scottish Shield final on Thursday 9th May 2013.  The boys won with a superb 2 - 0 victory over opponents St Peter the Apostle.  Goals from Ethan Dastey and Lee Davison secured the win.

Bishopbriggs Academy U18s football team had previously cruised in to the final of the Scottish Shield with a fantastic 5 - 1 victory against Stonelaw High School at Broadwood Stadium on Friday 19th April.  Goals from Ethan Dastey, James Taylor, James Finlay and Lee Davison and an own goal from the Stonelaw goalkeeper ensured their place in the final. Read the full semi-final match report here.
