European Commission Young Translators Competition

Every year the European Commission runs a competition to find the best young translators in Europe. This year Mrs West entered six of our S6 pupils and all were chosen to participate and to represent not only Bishopbriggs Academy but also the UK!

The pupils worked hard to prepare for the competition, spending a lot of time doing practice translations and also researching the topic – European Identity. The competition was held on 27th November 2014 and all of the pupils produced outstanding translations.

Congratulations to all the pupils involved!
