British Education Awards 2017

Congratulations to S6 pupil, Innes Johnston who received a British Education Award at a ceremony in London in January 2017.  Innes was nominated in the A Level category for his impressive SQA Higher exam results and won the Scottish Regional Award. These prestigious awards are for pupils who are among the brightest pupils in Great Britain and recognise the personal endeavour and application of young people who have excelled in the British education system.

In fifth year, Innes studied for six Higher subjects including Maths, Chemistry, English, Geography, Human Biology and Physics and achieved a Grade A, Band 1 pass in all six subjects.  This achievement was even more impressive as he undertook studying for the Higher Physics course on his own at home.  All at Bishopbriggs Academy are very proud of Innes’ achievements and are delighted that his hard work has been recognised.
