Bishopbriggs Academy Awards 2017

On Thursday 8th June 2017 almost 190 pupils and more than 400 parents, staff and guests squeezed in to our Assembly Hall to celebrate the achievements of our young people over the past year. Pupils and guests were also entertained by musicians, Christopher Wan, Emma Wylie, Mark Hunter and Byron Yip.  Later in the ceremony Eoghan McManus  played the fiddle before accompanying Rachel McLean as she sang 'Ae Fond Kiss'.  We were also entertained by a short speech by Sam Foggo and Callum Keith. At the end of the Ceremony, Captains, Andrew Macpherson and Amy Turnbull presented a cheque for £12000 to Amanda Casey and Miriam Watts from Marie Curie.
