BBC School Report 2016

Students from Bishopbriggs Academy made the headlines on 10 March 2016 when they took part in BBC News School Report Day. As the BBC links to each website this gives pupils the opportunity to research and produce their own news reports for a real audience. Pupils develop their journalistic skills so they can report on the stories that matter to them and make their voices heard.

The project culminated on School Report News Day  where all schools taking part produced stories and published them on their school websites.

Our School Report Team were fortunate to visit the BBC studios in Glasgow where they were able to write and film their news report.  Watch their report by clicking on the link below.
